Beverly Rapp of the PA Department of Labor and Industry Receives Community Service Award
Beverly Rapp, Northwest Pennsylvania Rapid Response Coordinator and Workforce Development Analyst for the PA Department of Labor and Industry, recently received the John David Dever Memorial Award for outstanding community service in Erie County.
Bev has been a strong supporter of the SEWN Program for a number of years, working tirelessly with our directors to save and protect vital manufacturing companies and jobs throughout Western Pennsylvania.
The United Way of Erie County presented Bev with the John David Dever Memorial Award. The Award is granted annually in memory of a man who spent his life serving others. Mr Dever served his community through membership on various Councils and Committees, through his volunteer work and his affiliation with the United Way, and through his service to his country as a National Guard Reservist.
Bev's work within her greater community made her the ideal candidate for the annual award, not only for her work with the Department of Labor and Industry, but for her efforts on behalf of the United Way, speaking at various training programs and selflessly giving of her time.
Congratulations, Bev!
